Jessica Matula provided some great career and resume advice for students. She also discussed the Career Center resources, resume development and the recruiting process for finance majors. The SFA members who attended the event felt they learned a lot about writing resumes as well as feel more confident through the recruiting process. 

Jessica Matula is the Career Advisor for undergraduate Finance, Accounting & MIS students. She assists students with the career development process though advising appointments, workshops and networking events. In this role, Jessica works closely with employers looking to hire finance students and collaborates with student organizations and faculty. She completed her BBA in Marketing at The University of Texas at Austin and her M.Ed. in Counseling with a focus on college student development at DePaul. Previously she worked Enrollment Management and Marketing at DePaul University managing advertising and enrollment initiatives for the university. Jessica has worked in advising at City Colleges of Chicago, the University of Chicago and in DePaul’s Office for Academic Advising Support.
